Fitgerald, the world of Hercule Poirot's detective stories, the 1920s-30s, the age of jazz, the birth of the first movies, radio, ocean cruises and flights, luxury car companies, bold fashion combined with lavish parties, clubs, parties. Inspiration
For older ages (15-19) we recommend the 1984 American films Cotton Club by F.F. Coppola and The Great Gatsby from 2013 by B. Luhrmann. Also the detective series about the Belgian private detective Hercule Poirot, brilliantly portrayed by actor David Suchet. Recommended episodes: Murder on the Orient Express, Murder on Mews Street, The Third Floor Apartment, Murder on the Nile, etc. All the episodes perfectly recreate the atmosphere of the art deco flats, Poirot's Whitehaven Mansions flat itself, the fashion and clientele of the famous detective, who are an accurate expression of the art deco "upper ten thousand" era.
